Dr. Darrell Baskin Announces Retirement from Retina Consultants of Texas

After more than 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Darrell E. Baskin has made the decision to retire, effective September 1, 2023.

Dr. Baskin’s dedication to helping to preserve and restore his patients’ vision has never wavered. First joining Retina Consultants of Texas in 2017, he helped to provide the most advanced retina care to patients across San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. The entire RCTX team is happy to have had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Baskin. He will be deeply missed and we wish him well on his future path.

Regarding your medical records, rest assured they are safe on file, and you do not need to take any further action. However, if you decide to transfer your records to another practice, our team will gladly assist you.
