Dr. R. Gary Lane Will No Longer Be Providing Care in Alamo Ranch

Effective Friday, October 14, 2022, Dr. R. Gary Lane, MD from Retina Consultants of Texas will no longer be providing retinal care at our clinic in Alamo Ranch. Dr. Lane will be available to you close by at our office in Westover Hills, at 10439 State Highway 151, San Antonio, TX, 78251.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. Please know that our entire team remains committed to caring for you and meeting your specific needs. We will do everything we can to ensure a smooth transition to our Westover Hills location.
If you have an appointment scheduled in Alamo Ranch on or after October 14, 2022, one of our team members will personally call you to provide the address and directions to our Westover Hills location. Your appointment date and time have not changed.
Please note that when you arrive for your appointment at Westover Hills, the sign on the building currently reads Brown Retina Institute. We recently partnered with Dr. Jeremiah Brown at the Brown Retina Institute and are proud that this will allow us to provide retinal care to more patients throughout the greater San Antonio area.
Our scheduling team is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule/reschedule any future appointments and provide any additional information.

Directions to Our Westover Hills Retina Center
From Highway 410
- Take exit 9A to Highway 151 West.
- From Highway 151 W, take the Military Drive West exit.
- Stay on the access road and move into the right lane.
- Pass through the stop light at Military Drive West, then enter the second driveway on the right.
- The driveway takes you into the Westover Medical Park. You will see the Warm Springs Rehab hospital on the right; the Brown Retina Institute is the second building on the left.
From Texas Highway 1604
- Take the exit toward Texas Highway 151/Stotzer Frwy/Alamo Ranch Pkwy North.
- Continue onto Highway 151 East. Take the exit toward Military Drive.
- Stay on the access road and continue to the stop light. Turn left onto Military Drive.
- Take an immediate left at the next light onto the access road heading west and move to the right lane.
- Enter the second driveway on the right.
- The driveway takes you into the Westover Medical Park. You will see the Warm Springs Rehab hospital on the right; the Brown Retina Institute is the second building on the left.
