Our Research Centers at Retina Consultants of Texas are dedicated to fighting blindness through cutting-edge clinical research. We are the largest retina research center in the country and one of the leading global centers committed to studying vitreoretinal disorders and have successfully developed and led clinical research for over twenty years through a variety of clinical trial pathways.

Our research center employs advanced top of the line diagnostic imaging modalities and continues to pursue new avenues aimed at advancing care for patients with retinal pathologies. Our research focuses on blinding diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, retinal venous occlusive diseases and diabetic retinopathy, as well as uveitis, vitreomacular adhesions, macular holes, ocular tumors, radiation retinopathy and retinal detachments.
