Medical Receptionists
Seeking front desk/receptionist personnel. Candidate must be willing to commute from one office to another as needed for cross coverage. Bilingual skills desired (Spanish). Experience desired but not required. Candidate should be able to multi-task, answer phones, use medical office scheduling computer program, and be able to learn basic medical insurance coding and authorizations. Experience in these areas helpful. Excellent people skills essential.
Ophthalmic Technicians
Seeking energetic Ophthalmic Technicians to work in our Houston area offices. Candidate must be willing to commute from one office to another as needed for cross coverage. Must have personality to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively with physicians and patients. Basic job includes workup of retina patients, checking vision, intraocular pressure, administering dilating drops. Intermediate skills include use of diagnostic testing, including ocular coherence tomography. Advanced skills include eventually learning fundus photography and retinal angiography. Experience desired but not required. Excellent people skills essential.
Ophthalmic Photographers
Seeking an energetic and friendly Ophthalmic Photographer to perform a variety of highly skilled duties associated with the operation of specialized equipment to assist physicians in the examination and treatment of diseases of the eye, including fundus auto fluorescence photography, digital fluorescein and ICG angiography. Venipuncture (performing IV injections and related patient care) skills essential. Previous experience in fundus photography/ocular angiography in a general ophthalmology practice helpful; previous experience in retina-only practice would be a bonus.
